WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP COACHING - CASE STUDY 8

Individual Challenge:
Career mother of two small children with a significant commute to work discovers that her job is affected by functional change programme.

Coaching Intervention:
Brought clarity to what the career mother ultimately wanted and what she valued the most including her preferred career direction.
Built the career mother’s confidence by identifying her strengths and preferences.
Explored options available both inside and outside the organisation.
Coached through an internal selection process and ensured key areas of concern were identified and clarified by the career mother.

Result:
Career mother was successfully appointed to the preferred new role.
Performed well and established herself in the new role.
After a year requested and was granted a career break to spend more time with her young children before returning to the same role 12 months on.
