WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP COACHING - CASE STUDY 9

Individual Challenge:
Career woman in a leadership role which involved a weekly commute away from home and husband, welcome pregnancy news made this scenario and current role untenable for the future.

Coaching Intervention:
Established the key stakeholders the career woman needed to explain the current situation to and express her desired outcome.
Various relocation and new appointment options were explored, new opportunities identified.
Coaching and feedback process was completed in preparation for interview which included researching the new role fully and building relationships with potential new business partners.
Values based exercise established new mother’s preferences around childcare provisions post-maternity leave.

Result:
‘Career progressing’ role was successfully secured prior to maternity leave commencing.
Childcare options explored until satisfactory solution identified for return to work.
Smooth transition back to the workplace into new role with peace of mind around childcare arrangements.
